Poor customer service and discrimination towards reduced mobility passenger unable to board and refund refused. NOT recommended to use this bus!!!

Last Friday February 23, 2024. The flixbus came late at Florenz, Italy for about 45 minutes. Furthermore, it arrived in Munich also for 4 1/2 hours late. I had messaged and discussed the matters thru ... Last Friday February 23, 2024. The flixbus came late at Florenz, Italy for about 45 minutes. Furthermore, it arrived in Munich also for 4 1/2 hours late. I had messaged and discussed the matters thru their Customer Service. However, there was no resolution takes place. Not even a compensation to refund the half, if not the whole fareprice. The Customer Service replied that the late arrival is not covered for the compensation. Althoug, I have explained that because of late arrival, I had missed my connecting transportation in Munich. The Time wasted and money is not what the company is utmost for their passenger. I hope those future clients and passengers will try to use other bus company, that helps and bring the matters of their passenger's rights.

What was not fine was that he used his language barrier to ignore me for the first hour of the trip when I asked him to turn on the reading lights, as it was dark and I could not do any of my work, despite your website promoting the presence of reading lights. Normally this would not warrant a 1-star review (I’d go lower if I could), but when I tried to talk to support, I got nothing but “We can’t communicate to the driver,” “We can’t offer a refund or cancellation since you are already on the bus,” and “We cannot refer you to a manager, we are already the highest point of escalation.” The entire chat was full of canned responses that used identical language, leading me to believe that the chat was either someone who has truly and utterly checked out, or an AI. This business is shameful and I heartily recommend everyone steer clear.

“They canceled my bus at the last minute, and after 2 months of chasing them for my refund, they sent it through wire transfer and I lost 35$ in the process . I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.

Be forewarned that there is zero guarantee that the bus Wi-Fi will work or even supports it at all

I had booked a trip from Munich ZOB to Memmingen airport. This was supposed to take place on 5 August at 3am and when I got there, there was no bus (but it was on the timetable). This was supposed to take place on 5 August at 3am and when I got there, there was no bus (but it was on the timetable). I then looked in the mails and there it was, they cancelled the trip for no reason with less than 6 hours notice. If a journey is at 3 a.m., then I'm in bed by 8 p.m. at the latest and don't check my emails any more. There was nothing in the Flixbus app either. To get to the airport, I had no other choice but to get a Miles rental car and drive there (a great deal, the journey cost over 60€, by bus it would have been 25€). When I checked my statements after a month, I saw that the cancelled trip was not automatically refunded, I had to contact customer service. There I asked for the €25 back (which is probably not a matter of course with Flixbus, because they told me that according to their terms and conditions, a voucher should be enough as a refund. So they cancel without a reason and I'm still supposed to chase the refund?) and I didn't even receive compensation for the last-minute cancellation. Simply not customer friendly! This company is a joke when it comes to customer satisfaction. I'd rather pay a few euros more with another provider.

It's always terrible! No one ever knows where the buses depart from, and the drivers leave whenever they want, even if the passengers who bought tickets in advance did not get on the bus! The driver just decided to go early and sneeze, they wanted you to waste your time and money! The service does not return money and you will be guilty and have nothing to prove.

We missed the bus. Because when we drove from Toronto to Niagara 3pm-4:50pm (Bus 2704) the driver dropped us off at Niagara river PKWY and he said that from here there will be a bus back. But the bus ... We missed the bus. But the bus was not there and nobody called to us. Besides us, the same situation was with two girls who were waiting for the bus with us.

Don't use Flixbus to go to Eastern Europe. A friend of mine and I went to Slovenia, and when we wanted to go back to Graz, bus arrived but then turned out to be broken. Can happen. In the meantime, other Flixbusses with destination Graz arrived, and our Flixbus App showed that seats were available, but the drivers still weren't allowed to take us in, I don't know why (maybe different subcontractor?). We could see the vacant seats inside. 2 hours later a substitute bus from Zagreb arrived and we went inside and sat down. Bus driver came up, hit me on the shoulder and yelled: "You! Out!". I was surprised but kept my calm and asked why. He couldn't speak more English, but a fellow passenger explained to me, that the substitute bus brought everyone back to Zagreb, where almost everyone else had started their journey the same day. I asked the rude driver and other Flixbus drivers outside how to get back to Austria, and got the response "Not my problem!!". They were all covered in sweat and very nervous. We didn't know what was going on and just ordered two more tickets for another Flixbus 2 hours later. This time, the driver was very nice and brought us home. Conclusions: (1) Don't use Flixbus (at least not outside Austria/Germany), it's too risky. (2) Don't trust what the App says. It even tells you "bus on time" when there's no bus. If it says 'seats available' it doesn't mean that you'll get one. (3) Don't expect any help from the drivers, they don't work for Flixbus but a subcontractor and don't identify with Flixbus. (4) Seat reservations don't mean anything, people just refuse to get up (on both to and from Maribor), even when the driver tells them to. The city of Maribor and its people are very nice though!

Transportation may or may not be provided. I paid them for transportation twice and both times the service was not available at the time and place specified on the ticket. I have only dealt with the company twice and both times I have been scammed. This time I booked on Greyhound, not knowing that FlixBus had purchased the company. I spent 4 hours outside in the cold on a bus bench overnight in downtown Los Angeles this time. I still have the unused ticket as I would not let them keep it (I would have no evidence that I even had the ticket). They wanted to sell me another ticket for travel 16 hours later (fat chance the bus would come) and said they would send me a refund for the other ticket. I went to LAX and flew home. They will NOT refund payments. They say they will give credit for a future trip. Why would I use their service again only to be inconvenienced again? I will NEVER attempt to use their bogus service again and be stranded! Do NOT book with them unless you don't really care if you get where you are going, when you want to go (or at all), pay double or more, etc. They make their money by scamming people. Amazed they have not been shut down.
