I honestly didn't enjoy my ride from Cape town to Joburg. So I booked a bus and on the booked it was a last min booking they didn't not notify me that they don't have express buses but they allocated ... I honestly didn't enjoy my ride from Cape town to Joburg. So I booked a bus and on the booked it was a last min booking they didn't not notify me that they don't have express buses but they allocated me in a Upington via Pretoria even the driver asked the allocate if there's space for me in a a joburg bus but she brushed it off on him and I had no choice because the payment was already donenot only that this bus it stops in every township that worsened everything. Next time if all your buses are fully booked don't take people around, notify them of the journey. This is the worst journey I have ever had as if am going to another country yet am in South Africa.

I booked a bus ticket for my brother for the 28/04/2024. This bus was supposed to leave Butterworth at 16h40 and arrive in CPT just before 10am the next day, the bus was 5 hours late and it’s infeste ... This bus was supposed to leave Butterworth at 16h40 and arrive in CPT just before 10am the next day, the bus was 5 hours late and it’s infested with cockroaches. They do not have a bus terminus in Butterworth, no proper waiting area, that place IS NOT SAFE!!!!!!! Intercape’s motto is “ safe, dependable, affordable” However their service is the opposite… it’s HORRENDOUS !!!!! I am so DISGUSTED!!!! The call centre agent’s aren’t helpful, no one has attended to my complaint and they just don’t give a f*%c…. THIS IS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY, NO PUNCTUALITY, NOT CUSTOMER CENTRIC… that was not it, the bus broke down in PE apparently there was an issue with the breaks!!! What mockery is that???? To whoever is reading this, DO NOT BOOK THIS NONSENSICAL TRANSPORT! DO NOT. ZERO STARS FOR ME.

No consideration for the customers, i booked my moms ticket two weeks before she teavelled, and on my way to drop her to catch the bus, they called to say the bus is cancelled ....i will never book th ... This is one of the worst buses to book and their service is very poor.

Very poor service drivers treat you like they doing you a favour no consideration for senior citizens

The bus service with intercape was thee most terrible trip i took. The toilet had a horrible smell, then the aircon was put on to kill the smell which made my trip even worse as it was cold outside an ... The bus drove from Johannesburg to Newcastle without stopping even though the driver knew that the toilet was in the condition it was in. I couldn't eat and more exhausted than ever. What an unpleasant trip. I will advise everyone i know not to use intercape anymore

Our first bus trip to Johannesburg and as seniors were not treated well also had to tolerate a loud passenger for most of the trip. Missed our bus coming back due to being mis-informed as to pick up ... I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards Intercape bus services Both trips were superb 👌 stress free, super safe, incredibly efficient and phenomenal drivers 👏 well done Intercape!!!!

The bus was supposed to arrive at 11:55 pm but it only arrived at 01:30 am. The bus then arrives and we are told that the bus is full. Please help yourself and never book with Intercape.
