The bus driver was constantly on his phone & almost never had his hand on the steering wheel. He was constantly texting, playing with his phone & talking on his phone. He also smoked frequently. As I ... The bus driver was constantly on his phone & almost never had his hand on the steering wheel. He was constantly texting, playing with his phone & talking on his phone. He also smoked frequently. As I said, his hands were rarely on the steering wheel. I did not feel safe with him as the driver. He was constantly looking down instead of the road in front of him. He was not friendly to anyone on the bus. It felt very unsafe to have him as the driver
