Pathetic service, the driver Mr Siwela was unprofessional and very rude, he made me pay for small box and transfer to his own account, he left me and others including babies in Montrose I had to run to catch the bus and I lost my phone while I was running, he did not allow us to use rest rooms, this guy mistreated even elderly people .
I was not expecting this service for the amount i paid .
DO NOT BOOK THIS BUS

Mind you we have bags getting wet ! The bus was met to be here at 10am and now it’s 10:53 and no BUS !!! BAD BAD BAD BAD EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE!!!!

Bad service ever ! Bus was delayed by 1h30 mins, the driver was really unprofessional; treating us like we are beggars. Bus had a breakdown and we had to wait for 5 hours to get another bus that was heading to its destination. Arrival time from Kokstad to Jhb was supposed to be 06:00 but we arrived at park station at 13:00. What a disgrace ! I’ll never ever use this bus again no matter what. Do yourself a favor and listen to these reviews, they are true. Pls don’t be like me !

Worst service ever!!! . This morning bus 2427 (BFN - PTA) was delayed by approximately 2 hours. Secondly the driver was nonchalant and rude that he did not apoligize for been late instead he threw a tantrum and accused us of not greeting him thus he refused to put our bags in the safe area and we literally asked him about the bags he told us that he's not compelled to help us since we chose not to greet, we were forced to enter with them in bus because he was already sitting on a driver sit. As he drove off, our bags fell to the doorstep and that did not seem to bother him at all. It's even broken

This is my 1st and last time using a Citiliner Bus and I regret my decision I should've taken a taxi or another bus from Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg but thought for comfort and affordability it' ...
This is my 1st and last time using a Citiliner Bus and I regret my decision I should've taken a taxi or another bus from Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg but thought for comfort and affordability it'll be better to take this bus, right now as I type this review - the bus got a tyre puncture at around 13:00 we waited for mechanic who came and couldn't change the tire and the driver left with Greyhound bus leaving us in the middle of nowhere without any explanation. Bus supposed to leave joburg at 10:15 and arrive in Pmb at 17:10 and to top it all the bus arrived late and now this!! No recommendation to anyone and will never use it again 😥😥
