I did a search for bus tickets and found Eagleliner. I've never used them before but because of budget constraints, their price was the best so I booked it. I wasn't disappointed. The whole bus experi ... I did a search for bus tickets and found Eagleliner. I've never used them before but because of budget constraints, their price was the best so I booked it. I wasn't disappointed. The whole bus experience was great. HOWEVER, on booking I followed the guidelines regarding the weight of the luggage and was very particular about this as I knew that I could possibly go over. On arrival at the office I weighed my luggage. While I was checking in I said to the lady that I think that my luggage is overweight but I'll pay in. She asked how much it was and then said I was slightly over (25.4kgs) but I needn't worry about paying in. When the guy came around to take the bags he called me to the wall and showed me a printed and photocopied sign that had charges for various forms of luggage. According to him my bag was a large commercial bag which would cost R150 CASH. I told him that I never saw anything of the sort on the website when booking and I was reluctant to pay. His reply was that I would then have to leave it behind. Without any other option I first said that I would pay with my card but was told CASH ONLY. He took the money to the lady who had done my check in and she wrote out a receipt. I asked this guy if I could have the receipt and he said it wouldn't be necessary because he takes the luggage out, and he crumpled up the receipt. Is this standard practice?

Horrible service, the seats are uncomfortable. There are no stops; I only stopped once for a 20-HOUR DRIVE. The bus driver did not know the route and kept getting lost. The bus driver did not know the route and kept getting lost. No communication within the bus about locations. The bus was delayed by 4 hours. There are no stops and no toilets inside. I do not recommend.

They do not care, i have filled for a refund on the 26th December, and to date no refund or feedback has been received. Its been over 90 days and when i call them they put my line on mute. Your service is terrible and i hope other people see this and never book your services.

I would not recommend Eagle liner at all. I chose it because it was the only bus that travels straight to Bizana from Johannesburg. Worst experience I have ever had on a bus. Poorly maintained buses, ... I would not recommend Eagle liner at all. I chose it because it was the only bus that travels straight to Bizana from Johannesburg. Worst experience I have ever had on a bus. Poorly maintained buses, no ventilation. On my returning bus which I had no choice but to use again, there were BED BUGS on the seats biting all the passengers and making the whole experience uncomfortable. To add a cherry on top, the bus driver was blasting Music loudly on an overnight bus so we had to listen to his crap music and couldn't sleep.

The bus was filthy with bugs that were so visible especially on the white seat covers that are so filthy as well. Today I need to use the same bus back to Midrand because I made the biggest mistake and booked return. My entire body is full of blisters from the bugs in the bus. Now I find myself having to book a doctor's appointment because of your unhygienic bus. We are paying for a service not to be bitten by bugs. I took this bus in December 28th and when I got to Midrand I had the same blisters and I ignored it. Get your dam. Buses cleaned before you start loosing customers. Me and my family at large we will never use your buses again. Before we used to jump off in Kokstad using Greyhound or intercape, I will go back to that because never have I experienced such for the 11 years I've been in Midrand

I waz going to eagle liner because of R370 from sibasa to Pretoria when I arrived at till they tell me it's R400 I feel disappointed because of this I won't use this transport anymore

The bus was nothing like what I expected when I purchased my ticket. It had poor ventilation, we had to keep opening and closing windows throughout the trip. It had poor ventilation, we had to keep opening and closing windows throughout the trip. There was no air conditioning, no charging ports, and no basic comfort features at all. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, making the long journey even worse. To make matters worse, the driver drove very roughly after Aliwal North approaching Queenstown, which felt unsafe. Overall, the service was terrible and far below standard. This was my worst bus experience ever, and I will definitely not be using Eagle Liner again. Passengers should be clearly informed about what they are booking. It’s unfair to surprise people at the last minute when boarding. Absolutely the worst experience
