Experienced truly horrible service with EagleLiner on 12/12/2025. The bus was 3.5hrs late, after being an hour late, I called and was lied to, being told the bus is an hour away. One hour later, I phoned again and bus was suddenly 1h30min away. I had to find another way to travel and was refused a refund. Disgusting transporter that lies to its patrons and then refuses accountability.

Iam highly dissapointed in Eagle liner. One, the bus was extremely late very late and secondly there was no comment or whatsoever from the bus service. I waited from the departure time which was 03:30 until 05:44 and still no show of the bus. Intercity Express arrived and I had to enquire from that bus driver about Eagle liner. The driver from Intercity was very helpful and contacted Eagle Liner to get confirmation from the passengers list and I took that bus. I won't book an Eagle liner bus again. They don't communicate at all. That's very poor service from their side. The email address that is printed in the tickets is not even in service nor the customer care line. How do they operate like that. I'm highly dissapointed in them. A big thumbs up to the bus driver of Intercity. He did his job so diligently. Eagle liner needs to wake up and communicate with their passengers

Above is the confirmation of our bookings with eagle liner no communication, all buses were full no assistant, we booked for 10:45 and we left Harrismith at 13:00 all the buses were full, Bad services i would not recommend eagle liner to anyone!!!

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable conditions and service provided during my recent trip with Eagle Liner on [date], from Cape Town to Johannesburg via Kimberley, under reference number STBWE90.
The journey was marred by a continuous and excessively loud beeping noise emanating from the driver’s cab. This noise persisted throughout the trip, creating an environment of extreme discomfort for all passengers. The failure to address this issue demonstrates a disregard for passenger well-being and raises serious concerns about the maintenance and operational standards of your vehicles.
Compounding this, the driver, Mr. Eddie, failed to make restroom stops, depriving passengers of a basic necessity during a long-distance journey. The bus was also inadequately equipped, with no drinking water provided, further exacerbating the distress experienced. These oversights are not only unethical but may constitute a breach of passenger rights under applicable consumer protection laws, which mandate the provision of reasonable comfort and amenities on public transport.
Moreover, the driver’s behavior was deeply unprofessional. Wearing earplugs, he appeared indifferent to the noise and the needs of passengers. His dismissive attitude and failure to address these valid concerns added to the already significant stress experienced during the journey.
Considering Eagle Liner markets itself as a “luxury” service, these shortcomings are wholly unacceptable, particularly at a ticket price of R700. The lack of basic amenities, the driver’s conduct, and the intolerable noise conditions all fall far below the promised standard of service and comfort.
In light of these factors, I formally request a full refund of my ticket cost and appropriate compensation for the undue stress, physical discomfort, and lack of access to essential

Eagle liner bus company is run by people who just do not care about their customers or the impact that their pathetic customer service has on the people that they are supposed to service. I booked a bus ticket from Uitenhage but the bus did not come to the said pick up location, no one wants to take accountability, I have tried to reach out to them but they just choose to ask me questions like I am a suspect then leave me. All I want is my money back. Patricia Seyama chose to totally ignore me after I had sent her all the evidence she asked for which obviously points fingers right at them while they are not ready to take accountability for what they have put me through. I will never ever book this bus again or even recommend anyone to anyone
