The bus was horrible it literally broke down on our way and we were not informed the driver was just sitting there. I called cust ... ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) Absolutely the worst bus service I have ever experienced. I arrived at the designated bus stop at 07:00 and waited exactly where I was instructed. The bus never arrived. I called customer service multiple times and was repeatedly told that the bus was on its way, so I continued waiting. After more than two hours, I was then told that the bus had already left. How is that even possible when I had been standing at the pickup point the entire time? The lack of communication, the misleading information from customer service, and the complete disregard for passengers’ time is unacceptable. Not once did anyone contact me to explain what was happening or offer a solution. Instead, I was left stranded and forced to deal with the consequences of your company’s failure. This experience was stressful, unprofessional, and incredibly disappointing. I paid for a service that was never delivered and am now seeking a full refund and a proper explanation. I would strongly advise anyone considering Eagle Liner to think twice. A transport company should be reliable, honest, and communicate with its passengers. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.

Worst experience ever, we were treated like animals if I may say.The bus 3 hours late, The original bus which was Eagle liner never arrived and we had to be squeezed into "Starbus" which was full and ... Worst experience ever, we were treated like animals if I may say.The bus 3 hours late, The original bus which was Eagle liner never arrived and we had to be squeezed into "Starbus" which was full and dirty. The driver was very rude and we ended up going to Newcastle first instead of going straight to Ladysmith as per our initial trip. Worst bus service ever, wouldn't recommend it to anyone 🚮🤮

There was no stop, we were hungry as hell and needed a proper toilet since well we cant poo in the bus, the driver passed all the garages , including Montrose. It was hell of a trip! I hate it. The bus was at times noisy and we were held for about 2 hours before the express highway without being informed why. It was frustrating.

I did a search for bus tickets and found Eagleliner. I've never used them before but because of budget constraints, their price was the best so I booked it. I wasn't disappointed. I wasn't disappointed. The whole bus experience was great. HOWEVER, on booking I followed the guidelines regarding the weight of the luggage and was very particular about this as I knew that I could possibly go over. On arrival at the office I weighed my luggage. While I was checking in I said to the lady that I think that my luggage is overweight but I'll pay in. She asked how much it was and then said I was slightly over (25.4kgs) but I needn't worry about paying in. When the guy came around to take the bags he called me to the wall and showed me a printed and photocopied sign that had charges for various forms of luggage. According to him my bag was a large commercial bag which would cost R150 CASH. I told him that I never saw anything of the sort on the website when booking and I was reluctant to pay. His reply was that I would then have to leave it behind. Without any other option I first said that I would pay with my card but was told CASH ONLY. He took the money to the lady who had done my check in and she wrote out a receipt. I asked this guy if I could have the receipt and he said it wouldn't be necessary because he takes the luggage out, and he crumpled up the receipt. Is this standard practice?
