Unfortunately, my experience with Go Mini was extremely disappointing.
I booked a Cairo-to-Dahab trip for 3:00 AM and arrived at 2:50 AM, after driving from Alexandria specifically to make sure I was on time.
When I arrived, the driver told me we would leave at 4:00 AM. This was unacceptable because my booking clearly stated 3:00 AM.
I called Go Mini customer service, and the representative told me their system showed a 3:00 AM trip and another at 3:30 AM. He asked me to confirm with the driver again.
To make sure there was no misunderstanding, my friend called the same driver while I was standing next to him. Surprisingly, the driver told my friend, “I’m leaving at 3:00 AM.” So within minutes, the same driver gave two completely different departure times: 4:00 AM to me and 3:00 AM to my friend.
We eventually left around 3:35 AM, even though all passengers were already there and ready.
The problems continued during the trip. Almost every rest stop lasted 45–60 minutes. When we called the driver, he would say he was drinking coffee, and at several stops he spent time chatting and joking with other drivers. This made an already long journey much longer and more exhausting.
I am also tall and had chosen the seat behind the driver for legroom, but he pushed his seat all the way back, leaving almost no space for my legs. I politely asked him to move it forward slightly, but he refused and suggested I move to another tight seat instead.
The issue was not just a 35-minute delay. It was the lack of respect for the scheduled time, contradictory information from the driver, unnecessarily long stops, and poor consideration for passengers.
After this experience, I would not use Go Mini again.
