Intercity xpress has always been my go to but, I've never experienced any issues. However this time around I was very disappointed to see Cockroaches not just one but plenty, in between the chair, on floor and in the heater. Some were going inside the bags were my food was kept. This is so unhygienic! Please at least spray or get pest control to spray the entire bus an this is not a good image.

Terrible service from Intercity Xpress. The bus drivers lost our suitcases, and there was absolutely no assistance or accountability. Customer care was unhelpful and did not offer any real support or solution. This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this service.

I can strongly recommend that people use the Intercity Express bus.
If you want peace of mind, Intercity Express is the way especially for long distance

The driver was very rude and kept reminding us he is the driver and if people doesn't do want he wants he will drop them off the road. When asked for something instead of assisting with response he starts swearing and fighting and threatening to shoot people. The bus driver of bus number 611 doesn't have good communication skill and customer service.

The worst experience ever. Firstly the bus was late, then it broke down after we pass Pietermaritzburg. We waited for three hours, we had to phone their customer service, which they told us that the bus is coming, which it never happened. And there was a mechanic who was on his way to Estcourt for another break down bus and he tried helping with our bus problem. The bus we were promised never came, our bus driver tried to drive that bus until we arrive at our destination where we connected to another small bus/shuttle. It was around 7pm. The driver of the shuttle was driving so fast and the road is dark and full of potholes, he needed to be cautious. He got inside the pothole, lost control of the bus and it got out of the road, we had an accident. We waited for almost three hours for another transport to collect us. It was dark, cold and dangerous where we were waiting. I tried calling their office, asking what was the delay, they kept on telling us that the bus is coming. I was so heartbroken and furious with their reply,

Everything was good.i was stressed since it come to me 30 minutes later but I understand because they were coming from pitoli so the road was busy.
The drivers were so calm and respecting.
