Do not take Melor Interline if you can avoid it.
The bus was already late, and instead of apologising or helping passengers board efficiently, the driver was rude, loud and aggressive.
When we tried to board, he pointed at a sign at the bus door which was printed badly saying that food and drinks were not allowed. Seriously, were we supposed to psychically know what was written on a sign inside the bus before boarding?
We were carrying vacuum-sealed, packed snacks, not open food or bottles of water. We explained this and even offered to put the snacks inside our handbags, but the driver refused and repeatedly told us to throw them away. He then started lecturing us about people spilling water.
These were snacks we had already paid for and had specifically bought as gifts for our friends in KL. We had no choice but to throw them away.
If there is a strict no-food policy, passengers should be clearly informed before boarding, not confronted at the bus door and forced to throw away their belongings. And regardless of the policy, there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to passengers in such an aggressive and disrespectful manner.
Late bus + rude and aggressive driver + poor communication = terrible experience.
Definitely not taking Melor Interline again.

We had an hour delay on the route Melacca -Kuala Lumpur. We think that they combine two buses into one. Horrible company!
