Took the bus from Toronto to Timmins at end of Feb. The trip up was nice, I went through Sudbury (bus change in Sudbury). It was on time to Sudbury and even leaving Sudbury but it arrived in Timmins 40 minutes late. But it was snowing so the road conditions weren't the best. The WiFi worked. The seats weren't super comfortable for someone 6'3". But overall I think it was a good service.
My return trip from Timmins went through North Bay (switch in North Bay). The bus left on time. However the WiFi wasn't working the whole trip on both buses (luckily I had lots of phone data). And many of the outlets weren't working. When we got to the rest stop (it has a 15 minute rest stop) everyone ran to charge their phones at the inn we stopped at. Luckily I also had a good phone battery.
Overall, everyone was pretty respectful. There were people drinking in the bus both ways (which is prohibited) but they didn't cause any trouble. Two men had a short argument because they looked at each other weird. The bus to and from Toronto is usually pretty full but between North Bay or Sudbury and more northern stops it was about half full. The bus temperature was also toasty warm. Too warm for a jacket but pleasantly warm for a sweater. Oh. And there was also garbage stuffed under the seats that I guess the operators or cleaners failed to look when cleaning the bus.
Felt a bit frustrated that they advertise WiFi and outlets but neither worked on my return trip. But they both worked on the first trip, although lots of outlets still didn't work on all four buses.
My suggestion to Ontario Northland: make sure these work because your riders are your lifeblood. People who take long 13 hour trips like I did, which gets tiring, should have at least those amenities.

Had to wait for almost 2 hours for the connecting buzzer from Sprague Ontario to Sudbury. I was supposed to arrive to pick up a car in Sudbury at 4:00 p.m. and now at this bus had being 2 hours like everything is in disarray this the service is absolutely brutal. I can understand 5 or 10 minutes 2 hours late. You better refund your customers at the very least and give them adventure or something cuz this is not acceptable. You're taking your money and your false pretenses. Taking $65 for this trip and having somebody sit at a bus stop in the middle of nowhere for 2 hours for the connecting bus!!!
