Bought return Tickets for me and my husband for R1900 at checkers. Johannesburg to Mthatha and back this past weekend. I can still smell the urine that was allover the floor of the bus. We had to endure that horrible smell for 15hrs from when we went in the bus in Joburg to Mthatha. I can't believe we paid so much for such a filthy bus. The driver David was awesome. Very friendly and kind. He made sure that moms with children were placed together even if it meant asking people to move around. Coming back was a sheer nightmare. A bus with no toilet. The seats were so small, my husband and I could not fit. Did I say we paid R1900? A horrible and most uncomfortable 15hr drive. I'm still sore everywhere! My husband st with any one buttcheek on the chair for 15 hours!!! Yo!! I will never ever!!!

I booked a bus online, The driver didn't say the is a policy against being pregnant he took me from my city to leave me another city only to get there and be told I can not go back home using their bus and I can't even get a refund. What's dependable about being left 6 hours away from home heavily pregnant "for my safety" with no one to take care of you? You shouldn't have taken me from the first place your policy is ridiculous what's safe about worrying me hundreds of kilometers away from home alone. Why did you take me from the first place because I am always in the same condition it didn't change. Latina nina

The bus was early which was nice, but so dirty and it smelt like urine. The trip there and the return trip. I felt so nauseous eventually. Tried to use the aircon but that made the smell even more unbearable and this is absolutely the last time I get on one of your buses. Super grimy experience. Also no stops for a 15 minute break even. Not even 5 minutes, just to feel what clean air smelt/felt like again.

I wish I could give a zero cause even 1 star is too good, the service of intercape sucks... Took a bus on the 25th of June to joburg... Argh horrible experience ever... It was freezing cold, the heater was on for a few minutes in between the cold inside the bus,. Chose ths bus specifically for their time keeping reputation but tht wasn't the case. Left Belville past 12 without an explanation for a bus tht was supposed to leave at 10:15. We were supposed to be in joburg @6 am but got there 8:45 with no communication at all from the stuff
I've used intercape for the past 4 years but sadly the standard has dropped to the floor. And when you call to complain they put you on hold and don't even rely to email. I would never recommend them
