Unfortunately, the trip turned into a highly stressful and unsafe experience: Mechanical Breakdown: After leaving Toronto at approximately 6:30 PM, the bus broke down around 8:45 PM, leaving passengers stranded in the middle of the road. The driver’s behaviour was extremely unsafe, which caused significant concern for the safety of all passengers. Extended Travel Time: What was supposed to be a short trip became a five-hour ordeal, and we did not arrive in Ottawa until around 1:00 AM. This caused me not only severe stress and exposure to extreme winter cold, but also resulted in me missing an important appointment at 9:30 PM, causing financial and personal losses. Return Trip Issue: On my return journey on January 2, 2026, the bus again stopped in the middle of the route, requiring a bus change, which caused additional delays and further inconvenience. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had, and I cannot tolerate such unsafe and unreliable service.

This service has the rudest and the worst customer representative. Today, Dec 31st, 2025. This morning was my first time travelling with Maple Bus. I arrived at the correct pickup location by 7:00 AM for my bus leaving at 7:25 AM. I received a text notification advising of a delay to 7:30/7:35 AM. At approximately 7:30 AM, seeing no bus arrive. I called the representative (on shift between 7:15 AM and 8:00 AM, this is literally the worst employee on earth!) to confirm I was at the correct location. During the call, I described the Bayshore OC Transpo bus stop where I was as resembling a parking lot, and was told to go to a small bus stop, I described the small bus stop I could see as Station B, which the representative confirmed was correct, while advising of a further delay to approximately 7:40–7:45 AM. Based on her instructions, I moved to a smaller nearby bus stop. Another passenger in the same situation later called the same representative and was again assured that we were at the correct location. At 7:40 AM, when the bus had still not arrived, the other passenger gave a call to the representative. I have been following up on this trip since 7:00 AM, and have had two phone calls with this representative by 7:30 AM and then around 7:35 AM the passenger I met at the small bus top we were told to go gave her a call as well to this same number ((613) 627-3019). At 7:40 AM, the passenger gave a call again as we hadn’t seen the bus yet. Guess what? The representative sent a new address, which was one we had originally been at at 7:00 AM and was told to move away from. This was approximately five minutes away and if we ran, 3 minutes. I told her I was at this location and she had asked me to move to a small bus stop and confirmed
