Amjad, our contact, misled us about th ... **Avoid This Company at All Costs!** My experience with Starbus was a complete disaster. I booked a ride from Marsa Alam to Sharm El Sheikh, confirmed for 8 PM. Amjad, our contact, misled us about the situation and promised the journey would take only 9-10 hours using an expressway. At 8:30 PM, Amjad continuously claimed the driver would arrive in 5 minutes, but after several delays, he revealed the driver wouldn’t arrive until 10 PM due to being at a gas station. Ultimately, the driver arrived around midnight. This delay disrupted our hotel plans and tour for the next day. When the driver finally came, it was in an old car instead of the private minivan we had booked. The inexperienced driver broke down the car four times in the middle of nowhere and didn’t know how to manage fuel for the long trip. We had to be towed to the gas station from desert. The driver claimed he didn't have money and we had to pay for gas out of pocket. The journey took 16 hours instead of the promised 9. Amjad promised a refund but became unresponsive when we asked for it. We missed our accommodation and tour, which cost us more than the ride. In the end, Amjad was very rude and insisted we pay the full price, eventually offering only a 5% refund despite the numerous issues with a threatening attitude . Starbus provides terrible customer service. Please don’t use their service unless you want your journey ruined.
