RegioJet is the bus division of the Czech company Student Agency, which was founded in 1996. The initial focus was on language trips and transportation for au pairs. However, the company’s services expanded to include passenger transportation via long-distance bus and train. In the spring of 2016, the buses were given the catchy name "RegioJet," which is now increasingly used to travel to other European countries.
RegioJet currently links 209 cities on 23402 lines in countries across Europe.
RegioJet will be restoring bus lines to Germany, Netherlands, Austria and the United Kingdom for citizens of these countries or EU citizens with a “serious” reason to travel. These include family reasons, medical emergencies, work or business matters and does not apply to tourism purposes. It’s important for passengers to note the individual countries’ travel restrictions and rules for entry to obtain the required documents for themselves.
Especially within the Czech Republic, RegioJet's timetables are characterized by a high frequency. The company’s most important route, which connects Prague and Brno, is served every hour. But also, on international routes, travelers have the choice between several different trips. For example, there multiple connections from Berlin to Prague every day.
In 2004, the Student Agency company, which offered all kinds of services to students, started with a long-distance bus route for the first time. This led from Prague to Brno. In the meantime, several Czech cities and numerous other destinations throughout European countries have been integrated into the RegioJet timetable. In addition to the usual routes, there is particularly strong demand for routes to the airports served. RegioJet currently connects many European destinations to London.

RegioJet coaches meet high standards when it comes to comfort. For example, a small monitor with a touchscreen is installed on the headrest of each seat for films and series. Even some games are pre-installed so that passengers can compete either for themselves or against other passengers. Also, free Wi-Fi can currently be found on board the RegioJet buses but only for travel within the Czech Republic. A special feature of RegioJet is that there is a steward or stewardess on every trip to answer questions from travelers or to serve free hot drinks.
