Why have s ... We’d booked upper deck seats to enjoy the countryside but were told that we couldn’t go upstairs and it was free sitting. Consequently my wife and I had to sit in the bottom deck and apart. Why have seat allocation and not honour it? The bus driver was dismissive and rude, he made unscheduled stops, travel time was close to an hour and half over schedule and the traffic was good. There was no toilet stop in the 4 & 1/2 hours, all curtains were drawn so we couldn’t see a thing and the temperature was 16 degrees. So, especially if you are a foreign tourist hoping to view Malaysian countryside, do not book Maraliner. They cannot be trusted!
